The backroads near Spring Hills are a constant attraction for motorcyclists, with calm riding weather most of the year and some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. One of the most popular scenic rides is the 31-mile long Spring Hill/Weeki Wachee Ride, which takes the Aripeka Sandhills and the grass flats along the Gulf.
Unfortunately, motorcycle riders in Spring Hill often deal with tourist traffic and distracted or impaired drivers, increasing the risk of an accident resulting in severe injury or even death.
