Kyptec Automation® offers a 35 MM Line Scan Camera Lens designed for high-resolution continuous imaging with 4K 7 μm and 8K 3.5 μm line scan cameras. Its M42 mechanical interface and F2.8–16 aperture range provide a robust optical configuration for engineers who need precise control over sensor imaging geometry and exposure.
At 35 MM focal length, this lens provides a middle-ground optical configuration within the Kyptec Automation® line scan range. It offers a narrower angular field than a 25 MM lens while remaining less restrictive than a 50 MM focal length. This enables the designer to tune object width, camera placement and image magnification according to the required line-scan geometry.
High-resolution 8K sensors with 3.5 μm pixel pitch place demanding requirements on optical resolving performance. Effective system resolution depends on the lens being able to preserve fine contrast and spatial detail before the image reaches the sensor. The lens is therefore designed around the requirements of high-density line scan sensors rather than being treated as a conventional general-purpose camera optic.
The adjustable F2.8–16 aperture allows integration teams to manage incoming light and depth of field according to illumination and object geometry. Together with M42 mounting and 4K/8K compatibility, this makes the 35 MM lens a strong technical choice for professional line scan camera integration.
